NRLL 2026 Spring Baseball Season


North Reading Little League is divided into seven different leagues. Player assignments are based on both age and skill level. See below for descriptions of each league. Please note that age ranges below are subject to change.
 
The family cap for the 2026 Spring Baseball Season is $525. If this applies to your family, please save your cart and email our Treasurer, Bill Hornby, at [email protected]. He will create a discount coupon to be utilized at checkout. The family cap only applied to the Spring Baseball season and does not include other programs run by NRLL (i.e. winter clinics, summer clinic, Jimmy Fund).

Please note you do not need to complete the school verification form unless the player attends school in North Reading, but does NOT live in North Reading.
 
Ages: 4-5
Registration Fee: $175.00
 
Tee-Ball (Ages 4-5) – A fun introduction to baseball.
 
Ages: 6-12
Registration Fee: $375.00
Early Bird Discount: $305.00 (check deadlines below)
 
Instructional League (Ages 6-7) – Coach pitched games. All players bat and play
the field every inning. Early Bird Deadline: February 2, 2026.
 
Farm League (Ages 7-8) – A combination of coach and player pitched games. Players learn about and play specific positions. Basic baseball rules are taught and implemented (e.g., 3 outs & strikeouts). Early Bird Deadline: February 2, 2026.
 
Minor League (Ages 9-11) – The games become more competitive. All games are exclusively player pitched. Early Bird Deadline: February 2, 2026.
 
Major League (Ages 10-12) – This is the most competitive league in the 12U division. Not all baseball 10s and 11s will be assigned to the Majors. Players not selected will be assigned to a team in the Minors. Early Bird Deadline: January 14, 2026. All players interested in playing Majors must be registered by this date.
 
 
Ages: 13-16
Early Bird Registration: $305.00
Registration Fee: $375.00 (check deadlines below)
 
50/70 League (Age 13) – Played on a bigger field with longer basepaths (70ft) and more distance between the mound and home plate (50ft). This is a transitional league that prepares players for the big diamond (full-sized regulation field). Early Bird Deadline: February 2, 2026.
 
Senior League (Ages 14-16) – Games are played on the big diamond (i.e. Carey Park – Home of the NRHS Baseball teams). There is no registration fee for players aged 15-16. Early Bird Deadline: February 2, 2026.


Age Rules - Little League age is determined based on official Little League guidelines.

2026 Summer Clinic Week #1

The North Reading Summer Baseball Clinic gives young players a fun, competitive, and positive baseball experience. Mornings focus on skill-building—hitting, pitching, fielding, and baserunning—while afternoons feature games where players can put their skills to use. With a 4:1 player-to-coach ratio, each camper gets individual attention and meaningful instruction.


Clinic Highlights

  • 4:1 player-to-coach ratio for personalized coaching
  • Daily skills training: hitting, pitching, fielding, baserunning
  • Afternoon games to apply what players learn
  • Emphasis on character: sportsmanship, effort, teamwork, confidence
  • Daily giveaways for added fun and excitement
  • Baseball Olympics on Thursday of each week
  • Experienced staff including NR Varsity Head Coach Eric Archambault, high school coaches, college players, former varsity players, and current varsity athletes
